On my first trip to Walt Disney World, I stayed a few nights at the Art of Animation resort in one of the Little Mermaid rooms.
The room was great and I loved all the little touches of detail. Only downside is that the resort itself is pretty large and it was a decent walk to get to the buses and main hotel area. Still, I'd stay here again!
Love the seagulls in the Nemo area of the resort.

Even the inside of the shower fits the theme!

Oh, Prince Eric! ;)

Beautiful view along the jogging path around the resort.
I'd like to add that I booked this room, as well as my Port Orleans Riverside Royal room through Disney travel agent and fellow running blogger, Meranda, from Fairytales and Fitness. I highly recommend her!
Have you stayed in a Little Mermaid room? Do you have a favorite resort at WDW?

ReplyDeleteHi! Thank you so much. I enjoyed reading your blogs about the little mermaid room and royal room. We are planning trip August 2015 with our 3 year old princess. Is the 700 price tag for the Royal room worth it? Any advise is appreciated:)
ReplyDeleteHi! Thank you for reading! I really enjoyed the Royal room, but it was definitely a splurge (it was my first trip to WDW, so I was ok with it). Honestly, the main difference is just the theming and decor. The room size was roughly the same. I'd say of you're planning to spend a lot of time in the room, it might be worth it, but I would probably go with the Little Mermaid room and use the savings on the room to go to a character breakfast with your little princess. Have a fantastic trip!
