Training Tuesday

Next race: April 13th- Half marathon

Weekly Recap
Tues: strength training
Wed: 2 miles
Thurs: strength training
Fri: 2 miles, strength training
Sat: rest
Sun: 10 miles, strength training
Mon: strength training

I went running with my friend that I'm running my next half with. She's definitely a lot faster than me, but I love running with her because it's a great workout! I added strength training back into the mix. It's helping my achy joints (getting old, much?). I also know summer is fast approaching and I really want to be bikini ready. :)

Up Next
I finally got around to telling my husband that I registered us for Wine & Dine.

Thankfully I didn't have to do either. :)

I'm starting to look into booking our WDW trip, but I'm not really sure where to start. I checked out the Disney website and I'll check out AAA's prices as well.

Also up next...
My running buddy asked me if I would be interested in doing a Ragnar Relay. After checking out the website, I really want to do it. In a nutshell, teams of 12 (or less if you're feeling brave) run 200 miles as a non-stop relay. I hear it's great fun and it would certainly be a different kind of challenge! We're still trying to find 12 people to join our team.

Any suggestions for helping me plan my first WDW trip? :)
Have you ever run a Ragnar Relay? Would you?

  1. Nice job on the 10-mile long run!!

I love that saying - always easier to ask foregiveness than permission :0) Robert and I are gonna book a Little Mermaid room at Art of Animation for Wine & Dine. I've been dying to stay there since it opened and the prices are great! Plus I hear the food court is good too (you know, the important things hahahaha)

    1. 10 miles for you is a walk in the park! :)
The Little Mermaid room sounds so cool! Food is definitely a top priority, especially during a race weekend!

  2. For advice on booking a trip to WDW (I take it this is your first) and answers to all your WDW questions try the MouseWait Florida Lounge. It's a wait time app, or you can access it from their website too. I'm pretty active in the lounge (they call me CDKG) and we love helping newbies! Allears.net is also a great website for research. Happy planning!

    1. Oh, I should mention there are two of us in the MW Lounge who will be running W&D for our second time and two who will be running it as their first half marathon ever! So , it's been a big topic of conversation lately!
